Dionysus is the god of winemaking, according to legend, he helped to reveal the inner, dark essence of people. The panther was a faithful companion of the god of winemakers, as it was believed, she was very bloodthirsty, especially during her motherhood.
But the retinue of Dionysus consisted mainly of maenads. Crazy, subordinate to some secret goal of theirs, ready to tear, literally, anyone who gets in their way.
That's how I wanted to combine everything together: Bulgakov's quote and an ancient myth. Let, for those who look, there will be an intrigue - what kind of splashes are on the fabric. Blood or wine?
